Welcome!  Thank you for your interest in our Home Buyer's Seminar.  Gaining knowledge and understanding of the steps and costs involved in the home buying process is KEY!

A lot of information is covered in our seminar.  Our knowledgeable expert will provide you with an overview of mortgages in general.  What is a mortgage?  What are the different kinds of mortgages?  What to look for in a mortgage?  As a Home Buyer you have access to in excess of 200 mortgage products and we are here to simplify and guide you through the process.

The next step is "getting you pre-approved".  What is involved in getting pre-approved, including the documentation requirements?  We discuss the importance of getting pre-approved and how rates and rate holds work during the pre-approval process.

Then we cover acceptable sources of down payment; The RRSP-Home Buyers Plan and Mortgage Insurance (CMHC & Genworth) requirements.  An important part of the buying transaction is the "closing costs" what additional funds you need available at closing?  Finally, we talk about putting together your real estate team.  Your team of experts!  The seminar also includes guest speakers such as a Financial Planner, Life Insurance expert and a realtor.

The Seminars are held in the Conference Room at City Square Mall which is located at the corner of West 12th Avenue and Cambie Street in Vancouver. The Seminars start at 6:30pm and run until about 8:30pm. We look forward to guiding you through the process - Register to attend our next seminar!
